Dawn Pink

HEX:
#fAA9B3

RGB:
250/169/179

Description:
I'm hoping this color conjures up the image of a morning sky imbued with pink hues. However, Pokemon fans will recognize this as the color used for "Dawn" (aka. "Hikari") from the DS game: "Pokemon Diamond & Pearl," which is pretty much my favorite game of all time.

Dryad

HEX:
#749E33

RGB:
116/158/51

Description:
A "Dryad" is a tree nymph in Greek mythology usually depicted using a mix of greens and/or browns. Here, I simply faded the green a bit and added some yellowish-brown to appear more organic and fern-like.

Julian

HEX:
#F18D50

RGB:
241/141/80

Description:
The first name for my screenplay's main antagonist, "Julian Salk." This color combines orange and peach, mostly.

Kale Green

HEX:
#4F9956

RGB:
79/153/86

Description:
Kale is a type of cabbage that exists in a variety of shapes and colors, so I chose the "curly kale" to use as my reference for this green hue. There are also purple kale, so I may create a color for that later on.

Bitches Blue

HEX:
#104EEC

RGB:
16/78/236

Description:
I couldn't wait to create a controversial color, so without further ado: "Bitches Blue." This is actually the title for an album I once heard, but I don't recommend running an internet search on it. =P

Etrian Green

HEX:
#01A088

RGB:
1/160/136

Description:

Created after playing "Etrian Odyssey" for the DS, which has your character traversing through a lush labyrinth in the first-person. The game utilizes a nice variety of teal hues, so I kind of just spliced them together here.

Royal Peach

HEX:
#F5A3C6

RGB:
245/163/198

Description:
This color was tagged as "Royal Pink" for awhile, before I ended up naming it more closely after its subject: "Princess Peach" from the Super Mario series. This color resembles what her dress looks like in most of the games she's in.

Tarta

HEX:
#4C0C09

RGB:
76/12/9

Description:
The name combines "tart" and my friend's name "Tara," whom I told I would create a color for. Hopefully she approves. And if she doesn't, she'll be quick to let me know by demonstrating some of her signature tartness! ;)

Salk

HEX:
#E68458

RGB:
230/132/88

Description:

The name comes from another antagonist in my screenplay; a middle-aged aristocratic-type who speaks rather philosophically about the world that he feels is beneath him. I'm not really sure why or how I visualized this color for this character, but while he's a dark person on the inside, Salk is optimistically-evil on the outside.

Blue Blood

HEX:
#5B42D6

RGB:
91/66/214

Description:
"Blue Blood" is an expression indicating nobility or noble decent. Taking additional inspiration from X-Japan's album of the same name, I created a color that's fairly eclectic, but also regal.
